How do you post pictures using photobucket or other hosting sites?
If you are using a photo hosting site (ex: photobucket):
Upload your image to their website.
You will generally be given three options or codes: "URL link",
"HTML tag", or "IMG code"
The "IMG code" is the easiest. If you are given an IMG code, whiche
starts [IMG] and ends with [/IMG], simply copy the entire code and paste into
your thread/post on the forum. You do not have to click any button in the
forum or do anything else.
"HTML tag" is not supported by our forum.
If you choose to use the "URL link", copy the entire link. In
our forum, click the button that looks like mountains. (Please note: If you
hover your mouse over that button, it should say "Insert Image.")
A pop up script window will appear. Simply paste the link in the pop up window
and press "ok".
How do you post pictures using the YPF Galleries/Image Hosting?
***NOTE: ONLY PAID SUBSCRIBERS CAN USE YOUR PHOTO FORUM'S IMAGE HOSTING.***
If you are a paid subscriber, you have the option to use our galleries/image
hosting page:
Upload your image(s) to your gallery.
Under your image, you will see information about your image.
Simply copy the information next to "BB Code IMG".
Paste the code in the thread/post. (Please note: You DO NOT have to click
the button that looks like a mountain when you use this option.)
Image Size / Resizing
The maximum size for images on the forum is 800 px (width) x 700 px (height). If your image is larger than this, YPF automatically resizes your image to fit. PLEASE NOTE: THE AUTO RESIZING CAN AFFECT THE QUALITY OF YOUR IMAGE! Therefore, please resize your image using any photo editting software prior to uploading to your host site.
