Hi Everyone, My name is Dave. I'm from the North West UK in a town called Preston which is in the Red Rose County of Lancashire. I was invited to join the site by Nicky (Sox Addict) She's fun by the way..Hehe!! Gotcha Nicky. I'm also a friend of Judy too.
My love of photography started when I had to give up my love of sports in particulare Football (Soccer to all the Americans) and Golf. An injury to my knee ended the sport but my love of photography has taken over now.
I started with my first DSLR in December 2008 A Sony Alpha 300 which I still have but recently I purchased a Nikon D5000 with 18-55 kit lens, Nikon 70-300 AF and also 50mm f1.8. I am having lot's of fun with the new camera but you can all be the judge of that.
Hopefully I will upload my first pictures today.
I'm looking forward to some fun and viewing and commenting all your pictures too..
